About COOWOZ
COOWOZ is a bag brand. Since 2021 we have made travel backpacks, school and work backpacks, insulated lunch bags and weekend bags, and sold them through our retail partner.
One backpack, five sizes
The bag most people know us for is the travel backpack with a shoe pocket at the bottom. We make it in 20, 25, 30, 33 and 45 liters because the question you ask before a trip is not "how much can I carry" but "what does my fare let me carry". A basic fare covers one bag under the seat, so the 20 and 25 liter bags measure within the 18 x 14 x 8 inches that American, JetBlue, Frontier and Allegiant print. A fare with a carry-on opens up the overhead bin, and the 30 to 45 liter bags are made for it.
Every size keeps the same layout, so if you own the 25 and buy the 45 for a longer trip, your hands already know where the passport pocket is.

Bags for the days you are not flying
The same thinking went into the rest of the range. The college backpack weighs about a pound empty, because a bag you carry every day should not add weight of its own. The lunch backpacks and the lunch tote give the lunch its own insulated compartment and the laptop its own padded sleeve, since a leaking container and a laptop should never share a pocket. The weekender and the canvas duffle ride on a suitcase handle, and the garment duffle unzips into a hanging suit bag.
Who carries a COOWOZ bag
Mostly people who pack light and pay attention to the fare: a student flying home for the holidays with one bag under the seat, a nurse who takes lunch and a tablet to a twelve-hour shift, a parent who needs a school bag a first-grader can carry. The colors run from black and gray to peacock blue and lotus pink, because a bag you pick out of a row of carry-ons at the gate should be easy to spot.
